The Joy of Keeping a Pet Journal
Keeping a journal for my cat, Mochi, is a silly but happy habit. Every day, I write down little things: how she knocked over my coffee mug, how she curled up on my textbook while I studied, or how she chased a laser pointer for 20 minutes. I add photos I take of her—napping in a sunbeam, wearing a tiny bow tie—and even stick in a few of her shed fur clumps (gross, but cute). When I look back, I laugh at all the silly moments we’ve shared. This journal isn’t just for me; it’s a way to remember every small, sweet part of Mochi’s life. She’s more than a pet—she’s family, and this journal is a love letter to her.
